Your writing belongs to you
Journal entries, letters, drafts, mood and weather selections, and your manually entered postmark city are stored on your device. The app does not send this content to a developer-operated server. You do not need to create an app account.
Optional iCloud sync
Weather Post Plus can sync your journal, letters, drafts and postmark city through your own Apple Account using iCloud Drive. Apple processes that storage under its own privacy terms. We do not have access to your private iCloud documents. Sync requires iCloud Drive and an active subscription. Turning sync off stops further app sync; it does not automatically delete existing cloud copies. Changes and deletions can sync to your other devices.
Subscriptions and payments
Apple handles purchases, billing and refunds. StoreKit supplies verified transaction and entitlement information so the app can unlock Plus features. We do not receive your bank card information. Subscription cancellation does not delete your writing; local writing and the classic theme remain available.
Permissions and tracking
The app does not request your location, contacts, camera or microphone. Weather is selected manually, and is not a live forecast. There are no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs and no cross-app advertising tracking. Sharing uses the system share sheet and sends only what you choose to your chosen destination.
Support and this website
If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use it to respond and resolve your request, and retain it only as needed for support and applicable obligations. Avoid sending private journal content unless necessary. This website uses Cloudflare and our hosting server to deliver pages and protect the service; network providers may process IP addresses and technical request information. We do not add advertising, analytics cookies or contact forms.
Retention and deletion
Your app content remains on your device until you delete it or remove the app. You can delete entries and letters in the app. When sync is enabled, deletions propagate to other devices when they connect. Manage app cloud data and backups through Apple’s iCloud storage settings; removing the app alone may not remove cloud data or system backups. Export important writing using Share before deleting. Contact support to request deletion of support correspondence; we cannot remotely read or delete your local or private iCloud writing.
Security, children and changes
We rely on iOS storage protections, Apple services and HTTPS for this website. No service can guarantee absolute security. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children through support. A parent or guardian can contact us about information a child has sent. Material changes to this policy will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
